Setting Calendar Preferences
You can set preferences for your calendar, such as the start and end time for your day.
To Set Calendar Preferences
- On the navigation bar, click Preferences.
- Click the Calendar Settings tab.
- From the Time Format list, select to use a 12 hour calendar or a 24 hour calendar.
- From the Date Format list, select an option for displaying dates on your calendar.
- From the Day Start and Day End lists, select the start time and end time for your calendar.
- From the Recent Means list, select a number to specify the number of days you want to show events and tasks for.
- From the Default View list, select the calendar view you want to see every time you log on to your account.
- To automatically save changes, select Emergency Save.
- To allow users to view a resource calendar by selecting it from the Quick Navigation list, select Show Resource Calendars.
- To make "Allow Attendees to Invite Other Users" selected by default when you schedule an event, select Make "Allow Attendees to Invite Other Users" the Default Selection.
- To view event information when your mouse pointer hovers over an event, select Show Event Summary information.
- From the Send Invitations to Attendees list, specify a frequency for sending invitations to attendees.
- From the Notify Attendees When Removed from Event list, specify a frequency for notifying attendees that they were removed from an event.
- From the Notify Attendees of Event Updates list, specify a frequency for sending updated events to attendees.
- To set the default value for reminding users of an event, select Default Event Reminder, and then specify the number of minutes, hours, days, or weeks before the event to send the reminder.
- To set the email address event reminders are sent to, in the Send email to field, type the email address.
- To send the reminder as a text message to your cell phone, select Format event reminders for text messaging.
- Click Save.
